What this site is
okfoundry.com presents our foundry’s capabilities and work and lets you request a quote. It is not an online store: there is no cart or checkout, and no payment is taken on the site. Capabilities, specifications, and any figures shown here are for reference and are confirmed in writing before any order.
Quotes and orders
Requesting a quote does not create a contract. An order is formed only when O. K. Foundry and the customer agree on scope, specifications, price, and terms in a written quote, purchase order, or invoice. We may decline or cancel any request before work begins.
Castings are made to specification
We produce gray- and ductile-iron castings to the drawings, tolerances, and specifications agreed for each order. Where a customer supplies drawings, patterns, models, or specifications, the customer is responsible for their accuracy and for the right to have the parts made. Photographs and examples on this site are representative of our work and do not define the terms of any particular order.
Confidentiality
We treat customer drawings, specifications, and tooling as confidential and use them only to quote and produce the work you request.
Intellectual property
We’re glad to share the craft of foundry work. The text, images, and drawings published on this website may be reused freely for creative and editorial purposes, and we ask only that you credit okfoundry.com as the source. The O. K. Foundry name and logo are reserved for our exclusive use and may not be used in any way that implies affiliation or endorsement. (Customer drawings, specifications, and tooling are not published here and remain confidential, as described above.)
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The website is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind regarding its content, availability, or accuracy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, O. K. Foundry Co., Inc. is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Any warranty that applies to castings we produce is stated in the quote, purchase order, or invoice for that order.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Richmond, Virginia.
