A working foundry, run by the family that owns it.

O.K. Foundry Co., Inc. designs and pours gray and ductile iron castings at 1005 Commerce Road in Richmond, Virginia.

The foundry

The same family has poured this iron for four generations.

We cast gray and ductile iron on the same ground since the plant opened on Commerce Road in 1947 — family-owned the whole way. We are foundrymen, artists and engineers, and we do the design, the tooling, the melt and the pour ourselves.

The continuity is the point. The shop that designs your tooling melts and pours your castings, stands behind them, and intends to be here for the next program — and the one after that.

A century of pouring iron is why the design judgment is worth trusting. See what that looks like in the shop.
